When Souderton Connects, a Business Improvement District (BID) focused on revitalizing and supporting the downtown Souderton community, needed a modern, accessible, and community-centered website, I stepped in to design a platform that reflected their mission and made it easier for visitors, residents, and business owners to engage.

Project Goals
Souderton Connects needed a site that would:
-
Represent the heart and energy of downtown Souderton
-
Help promote local businesses and events
-
Make BID information and resources easy to access
-
Attract visitors and future business owners to the district
-
Be easy to update and maintain internally
Features & Highlights
Business Directory
A searchable directory showcases local businesses, complete with custom categories, photos, and contact information offering a one-stop guide for residents and tourists looking to shop, dine, or explore.
Dynamic Events Calendar
The events calendar is central to the site, highlighting community happenings, live music, festivals, and seasonal markets. Each event has its own detail page with location, time, and links for more info.
Business Resources
A dedicated section supports current and prospective business owners with downloadable PDFs, grant information, BID meeting details, and contact forms. This helps streamline communication and fosters transparency and collaboration within the business community.
Custom Graphics & Visual Branding
I developed custom icons, banners, and page layouts that reflect the creative spirit and walkable charm of downtown Souderton—carrying over the community’s brand into a cohesive digital experience.
Responsive + User-Friendly
The site is mobile-friendly and built with easy navigation in mind, so whether you're a vendor looking to register for an event or a visitor looking for your next coffee stop, it’s all a few clicks away.
Built for Easy Updates
The backend is structured so that staff can quickly add new events, update business info, or swap out seasonal promotions without needing a developer. Empowering the client team was key to long-term success.

The Impact
Since launch, the website has helped Souderton Connects more effectively promote downtown businesses, build community engagement, and support local economic development efforts. It has become a central tool in the BID’s mission to foster a thriving, walkable, and connected town center.
